MANAGING DIRECTOR
Founder and Managing Director, Chris is one of Scotland’s leading independent producers. After working as a Scottish Film trainee, he took a Diploma in Film Production at New York University before turning producer and setting up Young Films in 1986.

Iain Gordon
COMPANY DIRECTOR
Iain is our non-executive finance director. He has had long experience in professional practice, in education finance and in the publishing industry. As well as his role with Young Films group businesses he continues to provide finance and business advice to a number of Third Sector organisations.

Patrick Young
COMPANY DIRECTOR
Previously a director at the Royal Opera House in London, Patrick is the founder and Artistic Director of OPRA Cymru, the world’s only Welsh-language opera company. In the eight years since its founding OPRA Cymru has created and produced Welsh versions of six operatic classics, including Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin and Verdi’s Macbeth.

Alison Livingston
HEAD OF ACCOUNTS
Alison joined the team in June 2015 as our accounts administrator and now also works as Production Manager as Bannan.

Kirsty Beaton
DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Kirsty joined the company in December 2020 working as Development Coordinator for the YFF 21 Skye Screenwriters Residency Programme and managing Young Films' development slate. She has previous experience of working within the screen industry in the UK, Denmark and New Zealand across various roles in production, talent management and major film festivals.
